Hot Rods 1936 Chevy truck carpet help

    I am looking to put black or red carpet in my 36 chevy truck. Any advice or help as to where I can possibly find a kit? Thanks guys

    i will be using my local uphostery guy for my 38 ford pickup but you should be able to look on the internet and find someone

    Ive cut my own patterns then taken them to the carpet store and have them sew in the edges with a bead .use a heat gun to soften up the areas that go over humps and ridges ,mold them to fit before you seam the pieces.the carpet store has remnants you can dig through to find something you can use,the thinner the better.you can also use velcro to overlap pieces and hold them togeather.its cheap enough to do a red set and a black set.

    I went to home depot for mine .Found it on sale.Harbor freight had the black shop floor pads on sale.cut the pads to fit.spent about $80 on the material .think it came out pretty good for a low buck job.
