Hello to all from North Carolina. I've been poking around the HAMB for awhile. Found alot of good info, so I took the leap and joined up. Been a car guy for the better part of my 55 years. Grew up in the first muscle car era of the 60's and 70's. I've owned lots of cars from all makes, but have always been partial to Fords. Bought my first flathead V8 a few years ago, a 1936 1-1/2 ton ton truck. Real solid piece from Arizona. Played with it a bit and put it away to complete other projects. It's now time to work on the truck. I wanna keep the flathead but improve the drveability by possibly adding a T5 trans and maybe juice brakes. The unsyncronized 4 speed makes it a bear to drive. Got other ideas to like lowering and possibly changing the wheel base. "The mind is a terrible thing" Interested in any and all ideas.
