I want to get some ideas for chopping my 51.

why thank you! i wasnt going to post cause i figured most every one has seen my car but i will now i guess

 

How much of a chop is that? Its perfect.

 

ya know im not 100% sure but i allways tell most people 6 and 8 but to tell ya the truth im not that sure. could be more like 4 and 6 or some where in there but its not less the 4 and 6 and no more then 6 and 8 i just kept taking more out till i liked how it looked. then to get the slope of the back window i just grabbed this 6x9 speaker i had laying around and stuck it under the bottom of the window and thought that looked kinda cool so i just welded it on. I had no idea what the hell i was doing with it

 

Here's my in-progress 53. It's chopped 5" in the front. I don't know how much I took out of the rear, I just kept cutting until it looked right. Probably in the 6" range though.

I always build a model before i mock-up the real thing so this is how my 53's siloulet(sp) is gonna look.

 

Here is mine.
It's about a 3 to 4 inch chop.

 

Heres a pic of the real thing.

 

Heres one from sweden. Originally a 4 door. Now a 2door with suicide doors, carson style top and a Duvalle lookalike windscreen.

 

Sweet ass chop with them KILLER home baked skirts to boot... that car is the fuckin shit man

God Damn! About time we saw a bunch of Chevy chops! Need to see more 52's for inspiration...I bought Hack's 52 four door recently, and want to do a radical chop and a 2 door conversion...awesome pics guys thanks!

It's a a guy in finland that converted from 2dr to 4-door, and also chopped and sectioned as well as few other things.
