Very nice! Did you consider chrome reverse? Those would have looked good as well. Looks like the HAMB has converted another street machiner.:D

Good choice.Look's good and menacing! Want to do something like it with my Comet in the future.

  13. it looks ok now id put chrome rims on the back or put raised whote letters on it brake up all the black or something

  14. It's amazing how much a set of wheels and tires can change not only the appearance but the total at***ude!

Six of one, half dozen of the other. I do like the blackwalls better than the raised white letters though.

If you want to look like a drag car of the 60's, white steelies and no caps. Back then you couldn't go down the track with caps on.

I really like the stance, but not a fan of black wheels, especially when the black of the wheel is up against the black of the tire (very popular today but not for me). You have a lot of shiny trim/parts which the chrome wheels complimented. Now it looks like it's unbalanced with only the dog dishes and the wheels and tires disappear, especially with the black body. Maybe some shiny trim rings would help. I'd prefer satin or polished aluminum old school wheels w/no white lettering.

I like it, tho having the back wheels be black steelies with the fronts being a skinny alum slot or crager style would be cool as well. A lot of the guys had aluminum or lighter style wheels up front with the steelies out back.... I also think it may look good without caps... Hell it looks good either way, what really matters is if you like it!!!!

Not suggesting anything at all but this should also give you an idea of what torq thrust style wheels would look like if you ever cosidered that route.

Period correct since that style of wheel came out in 1956 as well!

I think it needs a smaller tire up front, it just looks to heavy like a steam roller...lol but I do like the rim change
