I have witnessed this car from about 5m away,it was loud, damm loud.He was doing the same thing in an even smaller area. His race car runs in the top doorslammer class here in Australia at around 6.00. the car you see here is a dedicated burnout car,it has around 2000hp.Another guy down here called Victor Bray started this madness of doorslammer burnout cars,he used to take it to car shows etc and do burnouts in the carpark! He did a lap of a touring car curcuit last year, doing donuts and rolling burnouts the whole way,he nearly rolled it on one of the corners as it dips away.
That's insanity at it's finest!LOL Somehow I don't think the "No Hot Rodders Allowed" would allow those kind of antics in a million years. Too Bad,Makes for great video. T.OUT
Are you kidding? If that track owner is smart they'll pay him to show up. I might even start going to the drags again to see this guy.
burnouts like that are common at rev-head meets in australia. in fact, that one's almost tame!! i'm pretty sure that's at the summernats in canberra, where each year you will find nutters in MINT 57 chev's doing circlework between barriers that leave at MOST a foot or two at either end of the car. the guys that win those competitions usually blow both tyres, and then keep going on the rims until something else blows up. diff, gearbox, engine, whatever... the craziest burnout i ever saw had FOUR cars, simultaneously doing burnouts which individually created so much smoke you couldn't see, all in that little lane you see in that video. the summernats call the winner the "burnout champion of the world", because deadset - the worlds best burnouts happen right here. though they get pretty boring after the 200th competitor!
