I've got a 9" ford I am putting in my 1929 model a sedan. It came out of a 1969 lincoln continental. I need to find the brakes for it(drums, shoes, springs, e-brakes). Can this be bought at napa? Was it the same stuff into the 70's? Thanks again
I'm going through this now. I found drums, shoes and spring kits can be had. Brake bars, brake lever, retaining pieces etc..........Nope Have to look on Evil Bay , Here or google it. If this helps
Get with the 9inch ford factory John's 800 -332-3450 you can get the complete package assembled for less than Napa
For starters r u gonna narrow it? If so u can pick what housing ends. Probably go with torinno style then u decide if want car or truck brakes I used truck cause there bigger. Then order axles whatever bolt pattern u want , with the center hub bore of drum then just redrill drums. Typical u can all these brake parts on the cheap local. Feel free to pm for more info.
