Need help with some measurement off a Cadillac 472/500 engine. I'm using one in a FED and the ch***is builder needs to know some dimensions. Problem is mine is in a mates garage and he's away for a few weeks.

Anyone able to measure the distance from bottom of the oil pan to the crank center line. Also the length of the block excluding water pump and balancer

    Thanks for you help

Pretty close to 10 from crank centerline to bottom of stock 76 Commercial pan.

From what I can figure the block is right at 25 inches. That's measuring out in the snow.

Here the overall measurements out of How to build a Big inch Cadillac.
