Hey Nads, that would be cool. I hope we get the chance at some point.

Some very cool stuff in this thread with some cool histories...

Here's my brand new TrueSpokes, but still definitely rare in the sense that not many of them have been made in this size! They tell me they've done somewhere between 6 and 12 cars total with an 18" diameter and a Caddy hub. (A few more with Buick Hubs etc)

Wrapped in a 255/55-R18 radial with a 2.5" wide white wall.

Rare enough for me! Hope you like the pics.

Was a tight fit with a few minor clearance modifications required (trimming the rear fender skirts, front fender support bracket), and had to drop the rear axle off the shocks to mount them and then tuck it back inside the fenders, but I'm very happy with the ride, handling and look.

Very happy - blends the original style wire wheels that suit the car with more Duesenberg like proportions and with more modern functionality.

    Rare, but highly recommended.

I once had a guy tell me "Cragars" are really rare...... I then looked around at the 13 muscle cars around us 11 of them had guess what "Cragars". Thats when I walked away.

My 14"x6 General Jumbo wheel on the 34 coupe. They were an Acc. wheel sold in 1934 and ran low air presure for better ride on rough roads.Darrell

They are ETs, the name was a Roman numeral like the other ETs of the time (III, IV, etc.) it may have been the 'X'.

15x4 5 on 4 1/2 Firestone wheels. Look very similar to Cragar SS's but with a little sharper spoke.[IMG]

    What should they have used?

    Personally think they look perfect.

My 12 spokes are from the 60's and I am told they are the original ones before American. There is no name on the spokes. I'm going to sell them and the Bear Paws, or Bear Claws, but I need to know the history before I put my feet in my mouth.

Iwantafattie.....Looks like a Ford brake drum and hub. Hard to tell the year but I don't think there were any open brake drums like that after 35. Lugs look like model A.

Wheels look like General Jumbo or Goodrich. I've seen a set like that but forget what brand they were. Basically they were aftemarket for early Fords and what not.

    Lug pattern should be 5 1/2 "

  18. iwantaflattie,s wheels look like someones attempted to hide/re-use worn out lugnut holes on some oddball wheel bij fitting a homemade hubcap arrangement that manages to tie the whole lot together. As Clark says, drums are Early Ford.

Here are a pair I ran across a few years ago in a local junkyard. They are 69 Mopar factory recalls. They are alittle ruff around the edges but would make nice trunk spares for the right person.

  21. I have 2 of these they are ford bolt pattern. If anyone has 2 more i am interested in completing the set. They are made by Rebel Wheels and are called Stingrays.

  27. I've got two pairs of the ET IIIs - one in the 14x7 size and one in the narrow 15" size (15x7 or 7.5). The 15s are super rare.
