Thanks for the build pictures Rick! I'm stuck working indoors like 66tintop, we have 6 months of car building time here in the Great White North.

I'm at my shop waiting for the guys to show up and the day is looking perfect for painting. There will definitely be pictures today. I can't explain how excited I am today to have this "Celebrity Painter" help us.:D:D:D I really feel that this will put us over the hump. That doesn't mean there isn't a lot of work to do but this is one of the most major things for us to accomplish at this point. I wish all you snow bound guys could be here today. It is amazing!

Yes, my beater actaully made it out there and back without breaking down. Nice to meet you guys. That car is going to look great whan its done. Rick was fine sanding every part of that frame even the bottom. The sun is out now. I hope you have a good day.

You need someone to chime in once in a while and tell you that you missed a spot...

man i love this thread, i was like eleven or twelve years old in elementary school and remember bringing my dads issue of "hot rod" to school to read in free time and your car was on the cover along with a cuda. I always loved that car and now its coming back to life. keep up the good work, cant wait to see it back in action.

Woah. It just occurred to me that I may have been pronouncing your name all wrong?! Is it Barakat like "BEAR-uh-CAT"? OR is it Buh-RACKET? Like I need to fabricate a cool Buh-Racket?

    Anyway...

Rick, the sedan is looking good, can't help but have fun with you and Pete around.

I really liked the photos of the hood tops, as we all know they are the most important part of any hot rod build!!!

    Keep the pics coming.

    Hey Joe-
All my previous posts about it being Acrylic Enamel that I picked up in Arizona was just a joke. It's really house paint I got got from the Home Depot in Monrovia. Don't bother calling to confirm, I know your phone is bugged.

    Hemet??? Absolutely correct!!!

Quit picking on Al Gore.....if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have the internet. Therefore no HAMB HAHAHA

    knotttty-
The way they've messed up the paint in SoCal, that color name would be appropriate.

Hello Rick, I just found this thread TODAY! I am new to the HAMB and I am amazed with the responses from other HAMBrs. Reminds me of my friends in high school, anything to help out. I am subscribed to the build so I can follow the progress. I would ALSO be interested in a shirt, XL if you still have one. Please PM with info to get 1. Awesome work and I will be waiting for updates. Thanx Daryl
