Ladies ladies. Come on now let's talk about head lights. That was the topic

  4. OK then I stick my tongue at those lights.:p

Ya know what I thought about doing at one point is getting a pair of those park lights like off of a pair of guides and mounting them to a pair of king bees that I have.

Seems like I remember back in street rod days  a way that people were wiring headlights to just blink the headlight when the turn signal was on....that would be visible, and HAMB friendly/invisible when not working

I had looked at the lights in question at a show, but didn't like them.

While not HAMB era correct (yes I know the rules) I switched to these from the common square ones.
In my mind they had more of a retro look and resembled the headlight shape and some correct period lights I had from the past.

Sorry if this strayed from topic slightly.

it's traditonal to get t boned when turning cause some fool does not know what hand signals are....

if you have a bulb and reflector style light like early fords, you can drill a hole through the bottom of the reflector and add an amber bulb wired to a turn switch....like this from macs

i have motorcycle lights behind the horn covers on the front of my 36...I drive with my kids in the car, and those are the folks I aim to please not the internet....

I'll buy them if the 'box' you refer to is this little roadster!

It's bad enough a lot of modern cars are bad in that respect but you don't want somebody whacking into your hot-rod because they couldn't see your turn-signal.

Turn-signals should be 6" or more away from the headlights if the really want to be seen - particularly rear ones in daylight, often the brake-lights overwhelm them.

Perhaps you could post up a little sketch of how you would mount them 6 feet away from the headlights?

The lights PPRATHER is offering are originally Peterbilt truck lights-still available from United Pacific or your Peterbilt dealer. Bob Drake offers similar lights as well.

I am using turnsignals like UPSIRATE (I, too, know the rules but i like to be seen) but mine are more plain and were originally HD taillights.

Run what you like, just don't like those in the OP. :)
