my wife fell in love with the kustom ford "starliner"? coupe. she couldn't believe the guy probably didnt put the tinted glass in hisself. i really liked the little roadster. the guys who owned it came in safari hats and kinda looked hokey, but they were pretty damn cool. they had a great story to tell about how they got the car. its original build was supposedly back in the 50's from santa rosa. they drove it clean across the country, leaving new mexico in 18 degree weather and blowing an engine in the process only to have the best of luck finding a new one from the guy who gave them a tow back to a garage. good guys...
oh yea, the blue chevy truck was the best sounding vehicle at the show, IMHO. anyhow, heres some more pics of the burn outs up the hill. smelled a lot of rubber, but the 57 chevy will be needing a clutch soon...P.U.
only two more unless requested. for some reason many of my photos were ruined. you now how "natural light" can mess with things. makes alot of photos of cars come out looking like someone's leg. these girls in this band werent the best musicians, but i was waiting for the guitarist to lose her top b/c her strings broke using only the adhesive power of sweat to remain. and the last pic is of an "in-progress" drunk standing in front of his "in-progress" car. he was actually pretty cool, from around von tinglers way.
