Bought a basket case from a guy on a wim and have never looked back. Was always into 60's-70's cars as that was my era. This has been a dream but figured I could never afford it. Bought a 32 frame and a 28 shell with a bunch of parts and been peicing this thing together for over 2 years. Initially came on here bitching about the manufacturer and got flamed and shot down so shyed away from posting much......I understand now why. Anyhow figure I would try it right this time. Here are a couple pics I posted on another thread. Getting closer to being able to drive it, A friend and I chopped it 4.5 inches, I built the entire inner frame work of the car and custom rolled the hood to match the 32 grill.
Hey there mritech - welcome to the intros page. Nice to hear you've overcome being toasted earlier and are now back to posting. Your car is looking good - I especially like your clear rear wheel - interesting look. Haha. Anyway, enjoy yourself on here, and don't worry about having ideas or opinions that differ from others at times, just don't expect everyone to celebrate your thoughts. Cheers.
Thanks for the greeting, I have spent a great deal of time trying to build what I think is a cool stance for a traditional chopped tudor sedan. Sometimes I stand back and look at it and wonder if I am screwing up.....other times I like it. It seems to be better from different angles.
Welcome. Nice project. Glad you came back. We all can learn and maybe teach as we struggle together. Sedans are great cars. Especially if you have a family or like to travel with it.
