My 303 is tired and needs a rebuild. Can anyone recommend a person or shop who has experience rebuilding these in the central MN area?

I called one place and they had never heard of a 303. I don't want to bring it to someone and pay a lot if they don't know what they are doing.

    Any references would be appreciated.

I'm a bit west of you in Eastern South Dakota. My father works in a machine shop and used to race a 50 Olds with a 303 back in the sixties. We're in the process of restoring the car now and we're also building one for my model a sedan. He had his own shop until he sold out to the place he's working for now. Been building drag, circle, and street engines for 30 plus years. It's a little out of your way but let me know if you're interested and I can give his contact info.

Wanted to add that I purchased one of your Ross starters Mr Goatroper. It works good and took care of the issue of the starter hitting the steering box in my 40.

I had my 303 done by the NAPA machine shop in Little Falls about 20 years ago. It held together. You could talk to Mark Theisen in Waite Park (Mark's Speed Shop). Tell him Greg sent you!
