1950 desoto custom info

i have a 50 desoto custom 236 v-6 that needs a main bearing kit..i need some info on what kid to get and where to get them..any help is appreciated! thanks

 

It's an inline engine not a Vee-type. Bearings and such should be available through your local NAPA, CarQuest or O'Reilly's store.

We had a 1950 Desoto years ago. Did you buy this down south of STL in Fredericktown mo? I would bet it was our old one. Please reply. its was a 2 door.

 

Here is a good web site for the flathead DeSoto, they are mainly Dodge and Plymouth but the members know DeSotos too.
