I don't mean like huge shops with 20 cars but the average married man with a hot rod hobby.

My garage is tiny, it leaks, and it floods. That's why I spend more time at Chopolds' shop! (that and he knows more than me!)

Some of you have seen mine before. I built it in 2002 for 10K with a lot of help from my friends.

This may be a little extreme, but I made a deal with my wife before I built.

I live in an appartment and work on my car in the gravel outside BUT it is fully shaded at least. good thing is that I am single and have plenty of room so just keep the spares inside.

I am in the middle of building my new shop 60x100 with a 20x100 shed roof across the back. I have been working out of a 30x50 shop for the last 9years, I look forward to having enough room to work on a couple of projects at the same time. As it is now I have to move lots of junk to change projects. The new shop is my biggest project to date. The view sure will be nice.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

All the pics of the shop that I work in now are all about a year old. The projects in the pics are o/t for the board, but I think it shows the work space well. Nicola has her model a sedan delivery in the shop now so I do not get as much help from her on my junk as I did back then. The last pic is of Nicola working on a bumper for her daily driver, and a nice view of my tube rack in the background. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

We just moved out to Phoenix 3 months ago. I found a 4+ car 1200 sqft garage. It came with a house. I also live on 1.5 acres with no homeowners ***oc. so when I get out of debt, I can build a shop and have room to do some work.

I should add that this is a hobby shop. I should be building a new house, but it is easier to live in a shop then to build cars in a house.
