First, Let me say that I am not affiliated with the "Over the Road Gang", except that I live in the same town of Ottawa, KS. They are putting on a show September 17th that is one of the coolest I've ever been to. It is a pre-72 show and about 1100 cars showed up last year. It was free to spectators last year and I think it is supposed to be this year. It's $25.00 to enter a car. The cool thing about this show is that they close off down town for like 8 square blocks and let everyone in the show cruise all night. The restaurants and shops all stay open. It is a blast. Any of you guys around close should think about showing up. It is about 45 minutes South of KC on I-35. I know Downtown Ottawa is the perfect spot for something like this. People just pack the sidewalks and the park, set up lawn chairs, and have a great time.

Went last year. Great show. The Friday night static cruise is a good one(usually at a local buisness). The Saturday night down town cruise is awesome.... At the show, there are mucho stuff given away, including engines and transmissions. Jim
I think Fri. Night is at Advance Auto. Do any of you guys know the name of the "Flat Black" club that cruised last year? I have seen 'em around a couple of times, but can't remember--it's "Gangster-something" or something like that. They had a few trad. hot rods and some other stuff including a chopped lincoln that defined the word "gangster".
