You don't seem so happy Jay. Is it the poportions? Think outside the box. Widen it and make a day bed out of it. Perfect for summer naps when it's to hot to work outside. Better yet!!!, put the deck lid back on it. That would be one crazy Ice Chest/Cooler/Frig.

The fins the way they are remind me of the glider that my grandmother had on her porch. Maybe stretch it out to a couch and make it a glider. :)

  5. I tried to talk him into that, but he wasn't going for it!

Stan Back, said something along those same lines. I'm beginning he's on the right track!

Put a mini beer fridge in one side and a hideaway TV tray and cup holder in the other side. (Make them interchangable so a lefty could use it too.)

  7. Hey, I'm left handed.. not a bad idea

Crushed glass I got from a city worker! Oooo.. sparkly! I stopped at my local sherwin williams paint store today. They haven't heard of crushed glass, while mentioning it probably isn't California legal!

Looks like a big old of booger sugar

  9. It has everything from lil boogers to fine dust. Has a slight green cast to it also. It's rad!

Is that what they put in the paint for highways that makes the lines reflect?

  13. I'm going to spray a beer can my white color, then mix up some clear with this stuff.. see what it will look like before I do it. Gonna take a lot of clear, that's for sure.

Get your self a mortar and pestle to take the bigger pieces down to a consistent size. May save you some headaches... and clear for that matter.

Coffee grinder, bet you can pick one up a thrift shop ubbercheap.

  17. You're right, that would work. I need to sift out the bigger pieces of glass and smash on those.

  18. I can hear it now.. Why is there salt in this pepper grinder.

I have one already. Winner, chicken dinner!

JJ I talked to Jimsig today and he told me the story about how you got the glass.Pretty cool!

  20. We had a good laugh! What a coincidence. I stopped at the paint store on the way home, and Johnny said if it'll come out of the gun.. I should be in business. He didn't think I should sift out the biggest pieces. We'll see, as soon as it's warm enough for me to spray a can

  21. This thing has been great practice. and to think I'm gettin' paid to do this!

The relief cut sure made it easy, to get the spoon in and move things back out to where they're supposed to be. I always try to figure out why the panel is doing, what it's doing.. but I have no idea on this one. It's only furniture, anyways.

looks like this will be one cool chair, looking forward to seeing more.

  23. I was skeptical, when I started. But it's turning out to be one of my favorites. A wine bar in Redlands has given me space, to sell the furniture. We've come to an agreement, so I'm looking forward to it. Crazy
