My Avatar started with a rusty 28/29' Ford cowl and the back of a unknown touring car that had been once used as a couch. Sorry for no pictures as I'm computer illiterate but a friend posted a thread on it somewhere on here. Been suffering with back issues so it hasn't been completed yet.

The 29 cowl tank was $50 at the Louisville Nationals, couldn't p*** it up.
A gift of Es*** rails from Johnny Sparkle and engine and suspension gifts from friends.
Body panels and most other parts homemade.

34 International Harvester. Got it bead-blasted and epoxied at Mooch's about 4 yrs ago, but it still hangs on the wall there.

I started with a 1930 cowl from a fire engine, added a set of cut down sedan doors and a sedan back panel I found in a skip. Narrowed the whole lot about 6” I haven’t touched it for 9 years (yikes) need to get some other stuff done then back on it.

The other one I built was a English 32 Sedan Cowl and doors, lower back from a 34 pick up and a unknown roof that just kind of worked.

Thanks for the compliments, very much appreciated to hear, I have learned a great deal form this site and it's a big part of the finished product.

Some interesting ideas in here.. I just so happen to have a '28-'29 cowl in storage.

Too bad I have a roadster to finish first.

Not as rough as some of the cowls, parts and pieces that you have started with, but here is my last from very little project.
