That'll be cool!!! Even though I really liked those real rodder's wheels on your car, I'm excited about the new ones even more. I think it's going to be really hard to tell whether the car was built now or 1961 now with the changes. I hated you said goodbye to the flathead but I feel like the changes are now making up for a far more cohesive and period looking car. It's refined to a point that it could be mistaken for a restored famous old hot rod. There are only a few cars that get to that point I think....Royal Shifter's Vicky, Evel's Livewire, Lee Pratt's '40 etc.

Can't wait to see it one day....maybe you should head to the Round Up this year so I can!

Piero and His Livewire are Gay..lol!! Kidding!!! I love that car.....NOT..no but really I do..I wanna take pics of Livewire and Take Five next to each other..both in med blue metallic with Caddy Mills....I get asked a lot if the 34 was a restored car from the 50's and 60's..I agree the changes will make it even more so which was the intent anyway, kinda got off course a bit..really easy to do in this Hobby

Having Bellhousing issues, seems to be out of round, right where the Starter bolts up too! Always something. Here's a few update pics of the frame and firewall, filled in holes in the firewall where Oil Filter Housing for Flathead was mounted, as well as hole for where the throttle came through.Frame rails got more attention this time and repainted after the new Frame mounts for the Caddy engine were welded in place. I looked and looked for some old ones but they are almost impossible to find now days.Cody at Hurst Tires told me about this guy up in Oregon who makes them and I was all over that.

Right on...I bought 8 raw scavengers that Chris Casney was making a couple of years ago. Have them put away also.

You just dont see them that often on cars and they were very popular for a while.Love the Cali Rake with the Scavengers straight back under the rear Axle and parallel to the ground..

  22. Marcus, those scavenger pipes look just like the ones I got from Russ Meeks. Looks like your gonna beat me to it. I love the look. Russ is the real deal and has many show cars under his belt. He's one helluva craftsman too. Are you going to baffle them? I am looking for small baffles to fit into mine. If ya come up with something let me know. Your car is going to look so much better after these changes. Nice.
