When I was a pre teen, I studied all the how to mags then in abundance. I have looked for info on a car build that was in one of them ever since. J C Whitney used one of the illustrations for years selling cycle fenders. I remember the back of the car used pick up fenders laid over and switched side to side. The doors and cowl apear to be 32 ford roadster. The hood was widened in the front. I sure would love to see the article again!!!!
I remember the ads, but I'm surprised that there was an actual car built similar to that illustration. Good luck on your info search.
