Projects Plywood seat

    did you steam bend the plywood? or is it a special plywood that bends? thin pieces laminated in place?

    It was a combination of steam, wet towels, and a spray bottle.
    The wood was Sureply underlayment left over from the queens new kitchen floor.

    good job. i tried bending plywood, i soaked it for weeks then tried hot water and still couldn't get it to do what i wanted.

    There s a kind of "plywood" easy to bend or roll.
    Just make a shape, glue another lay to fix it and you re done.

    sorry about my comment, i saw the dragster picture and thought the frame was made of redwood lumber! i see now it's surface rust. carry on.
