It was a show truck from the 50's. The builder was Vidal Mangarro, he lived in South Central Los Angeles, He built many Rods. It was a Black Chopped 34 with white undercarrage & a hand made wooden camper with "GYPSY" on the side. He also had a brown 34 with a 427 which his son crashed in the 70's, but these where some of the Baddest 34p/u's. Well sometime in the late 70's, my dad traded a stock cab for that "Gypsy" cab & last I saw the truck was at Pomona Swap Meet in the early 80's, It was brown. Ill try to look for pictures to post. We're now working on a 28rpu to drive to Houston to trade my sister for the 34 p/u with "Gypsy Cab" to bring it back to L.A. & build it.
