History Local car club articles circa 1950's

    I Found these articles in the genealogy department of the library in the city that I live in. Dates are between 1955-1957, and I apologize if they are hard to read.

    In the one article an oil burner caused an explosion in their hot rod club shop downtown, and a few of the members cars were heavily damaged (1934-1940 Fords). You can sort of make it out in the picture of the cars.

    I felt like Indiana Jones at the library lol.
