White walls are the way to go. Otherwise the car looks dead . Whitewalls tie the back part of the car to the front and make it look complete.

 

Whitewalls all the way, but if you use the black ones slap on a set of spun alum. discs instead of hub caps. It gives the car a dry lakes look.
