  5. Congratulations! Thanks for posting the story behind the build. I've admired your car at various events for some time now. The coverage is well deserved. 'Looking forward to seeing it run again at this year's Steel In Motion event. Here are a couple of photos I shot at Steel In Motion - 2011.

Josh, it's cool as hell that The Can was in Hot Rod, but even if that never happened, you should be DAMN proud of the way your car is turning out.
I remember the brazed body panels, the warped metal and the bondo that was laid on like someone was frosting a cake.
If there was ever a '32 5-window body that wasn't worth starting with, yours was it.

The stance, the engine, THE LOUVERS!!! You've beat that pig into shape, and it's fucking awesome. If there was a picture to go with the definition of "Hot Rod" in the dictionary, your car would be it.

I'm proud just to know it and you.

  8. Bradman - Thanks boss. We still need to run our Graffiti race when you get the Wagon on the track - :D Looking forward to the Drags at commerce. I've got the Can in the shop getting a real cage.

  9. What????

  10. Thanks Tony - Hell you've been right beside me on every trip. Hopefully some of those pictures he took of your car will start popping up shortly as well.

Let's keep on trucking :D - Can't wait for some more miles.

  11. Ya'll are cracking me up - you know I can't sign that stuff and have you go out and make a fortune off of it on ebay or something :D

Hog Mtn Dave put a gun to my head, I owed them beer money again:

  14. Thanks for the props Josh, I'm blushing. Cool to see the Can-O-Worms painting in print, I'm damn glad you like it, I was damn proud to paint it for you.

Anyone got the shot of Johnny's face from his first ride in the Can? Priceless. I don't have it on this computer.

If you click on that picture in my album, you posted it in the picture comments. To damn funny. Saw the Legend Johnny Friday.

  16. He does a good Herman Munster impersonation :D

Gotta get the Can lined up beside the Austin Mangler one of these days. If it weren't for DW you might have been happy with the original motor... for a little longer anyway.

You've gone to the top of my heroes list.
I wish I could bottle that sound.

  22. think i got a preview of the cage.....

  23. Thanks for all the positive comments and photos guys - Those picture look cool in BW. I did just get my car back from Steve Kirk's. He installed a full cage and had it NHRA certified to 8.50 and slower. It looks great, it's well hidden and isn't obtrusive. I need to get some photos up.
