    Man, I really love that body. I only want a short body for my new blown alky build, but that one looks way cool... Did I see mention that these bodies might be available for sale in the future?

    Al Bergler hooked me up with some zoomies he had laying around the shop for mock up. Now I have to build a set for myself.

    This is really looking great! Just curious, are you doing zoomies so you can swap back and forth? I actually prefer the weedburners, but probably because you just don't see them on dragsters that make passes today, and the Chrysler totally lends itself to good looking weedburners. Something that's considerably harder to achive on my little injected Chevy.

    Dude, your dragster is looking good! I like the weed burners too, but then again it may be a good thing to see what is coming out of the pipes when making a pass.:D Have fun.

    Updates are slow because I've been working on the car:). So I was able to get the steering arms bent polished and the edges rounded, weld bungs welded and metal finished, steering support made and welded, brake handle mounted and the master cylinder mount made and tached in place. Riceman and I made a deal together on a Lenco reverser,thanks Roger. I'm sure i'm forgeting something. Yep, I also got the front motor mount plates made. Like I always say, everything is subject to change.

    Very nice work !Almost too nice according to one of CRs original welders , he stated that the bends are too nice , almost like they were mandrel bent, Scotty Fenn used a press bender because he felt the mandrel left a thin wall on the outside of the bend , at least that was Scottys theory.

    Tony, after I looked at the picture again, I realized the reverser is in right......the chassis is upside down:D

    Never seen a reverser not work mounted like that. Backward is backward regaurdless of how it's mounted.

    A lot of racers turned them around because they all tend to leak around the shifter , getting the fork pivot high, keeps it above the oil.

    Does the reverser have a neutral in it? If not it would be wise to have LENCO go thru it, also depending how used it is somtimes the "DOGS" get worn and tend to ramp, this will push it out and cause problems with the snap rings inside. Slot the shaft and have it drop down into the support mount as a lock.

    This is progressing very nicely. Excellent craftsmanship to all involved. What can you tell me about the scoop and injection unit? I have seen them in the oldie pictures. Are they being recast by anybody? Damn nice work!

    The injection unit is a new old stock Hilborn, short 4 port. The scoop was is hand formed aluminum, made by Randy Richey.

    The reverser came from a friend and is damn near new, I did flip it over, bend the lever and am in the prosess of building the lever and lock out for it. Thanks for the info Bruce.
