does anyone have pictures of a peerless coupe or has anyone done one up as a streetrod? any help or info please thanks
i have a chance to trade a 1926 essex for a 1929 peerless cpoupe and was looking for pictures or info if someone had done one as a street rod thats a sharp looking car thanks for the picture
no its a 1929 peerless coupe im looking into doing one but the wood is all rotton and there was alot in them i guess
As rare as a Peerless is, I can't imagine that anyone has ever rodded one and unless it is so derelict and beyond redemption, I can't imagine even wanting to. If there's anything there at all, it's worth flipping to a restorer and using the gains to build a real traditional car.
weel the wood is completly gone from what the owner has told me its a real project so he dont want to redo the wood he wants 4 grand for so he wants my essex wich is ready to restore
Thanks for putting the photo up, Harm's Way. That's a 1931 Model B Peerless, Full Classic. Nice picture. Peerless was into their sixteenth year of building eight-cylinder cars by then. As you know, they switched to manufacturing a product in 1934 that was actually illegal in 1931 and made millions.
Can't you rod your essex? What model is it? He wants 4K for the Peerless? But will trade even for your essex? What's your essex worth? Anyway, if you get the peerless, rod it! You will have something different, and nice.
I am not absolutely sure but I think I saw that Essex listed as being sold in the classified section.
