The narrow whitewall thread got me thinking since I am searching for new tires this spring for my truck. I was hoping to find American made whitewalls in P235/75R15 but not sure that will happen.

    I've checked treaddepot & tirerack.com

So far, I find Toyo, Cooper & Milestar. I believe I may have found Hancooks as well.

I would prefer not to pay $250 a tire like Diamondback....

    Thanks!

  2. Cooper tires come in that size. I was running 215s on the front of the pusher and 235s in the rear.

I bought a pair of Cooper Trendsetters in that size at Discount Tire. $75 a piece. Nice tires. I am really only using them as rollers though. I plan to replace them with firestone bias plys once the car is up and running.

I'm running that size on the back of my 35 Ford Coupe... Cooper Trendsetters.
I like the look of the Diamondbacks, and have been think of buying a set after seeing them on a Coupe in The RJ...

Try Pep Boys. I got a set for my Chevy wagon a few years ago there. They may have been Coopers and the $$ was very good.

I ran Sears Guardsmans on my truck at first. Good tire, really inexpensive, thin white lines.

  8. Look on EBay at Mastercraft tires. They come in this size, 235/75s. Easy on the pocketbook..

235's on the back of my 66 came from les schwab, and the 215's in the front I got at America's tire. They were around 75 each
