belly or channel debate for my '29 "A" Sport Coupe

Here I am...in Afghanistan and trying to get my project layed out in my mind. Here is my debate....channel the body to fit over the Riley Double Z frame or do a belly pan to hide the frame rails. Or channel with a belly pan. I want to chop it a bit, but not sacrifice too much space inside the car if it were channeled.

Opinions on this subject?

 

mine is channeled 4 inches and cjopped 3 inches. im 6' tall and sit fine..
