I did a search and didn't see anything. I bought an old ford that is 6 volt and so I need a charger that will do both. I want to spend $75 - $120 tops. Buy one that will last but not break the bank. What are you guys using and what features are more important? Thanks, Joe
I bought one of these at Costco about 10 years ago and still working great. Click on the link http://www.amazon.com/Schumacher-SE...5?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1358386136&sr=1-35
Check the flea markets. Many of the old ones had both 6 & 12 V. You should be able to get a good one for less than $10.00. Good Luck
+1...older stuff like that just seems to be built more robust...my dad still uses his dads from the 60s, i picked one up just like it from a garage sale for 10 buck. I like those battery tenders for batteries that sit a wile without much use.
I just bought a 6 -12 volt 40a charger from horrible frieght for around $80 shipped. Its a cart style with 2 wheels. Look it up on thier site.Ive used it a couple times already and it workd good. I bought it not for a charger, but to be used as a power supply for my electrolytic deruster because it will make 40a at 6v, and its a "dumb" charger (does not taper off).
I picked up a real nice roll around battery charger from Sears a couple of years ago,,89 bucks on sale. HRP
