Time has a way of telling on you but now that you brought up Fats Domino,,The first song that I remember paying any attention to was Blue Berry Hill,,and it was a new release in 1956,,, singing Blue Berry Hill.

I was 6 years old and remember vividly during a Sunday Morning church service I burst into my own skewed version of Blue Berry Hill singing to the top of my lungs.

I also remember my dad snatching me up from the church pew and dashing out the front door dragging me behind him,,This was my first real introduction to the Bible Belt!

Bible in the left hand belt in the right,,,my arse was the recipient of the belts fury,,but you guys already figured that out,,didn't you. HRP

Bo Diddley was a bad ass !
I got to see him 3 different times in concert, the first time was by accident & I was hooked .
I had heard his music before but never gave it much notice. After the first concert I tryed to find some decent recordings and there aren't any. That's why I never noticed.
I have genuine sorrow in my heart for those who have never got to really hear him play.
