Projects model a with early flathead v8

    im looking for some pictures of model a's with the early style flatheads, the style with the waterpumps on the heads. id like to see how they fit in there and how it looks.

    Right car but wrong flathead engine he's looking for. Go to the fordbarn.com web site for pictures of flatheads with water pumps mounted on the heads.

    Yeah but gotta ditch that alternator, it just looks way out of place. I think I might have some pics of a 36 engine in a roadster, I'll look.

    Mine is a 37' flathead. The frame is 32' re-pop Brookville made to fit the model A roadster body, flat on top, pinched at the cowl. We raised the k-member up 2", pie cut the sides back down, to make it sit level with the frame. Used the short front motor mounts, mounted level with the top of the frame. The engine
    looks up and great against the smaller model A firewall. I like the open view of the engine with the upper hoses being forward. [​IMG] Happy Motoring!
