Wondering if there are any guys on here around ko olina area in Hawaii?Im over here working. Every tuesday is a little cruise in at wendys.looked like some decent cars there.
I live in Honolulu. If you haven't already heard, there's a Cruise Night on the upper level parking at Pearl Ridge Shopping Center this saturday the 19th. It'll be above the food court and theaters and go from 5-9. Not certain yet, but I may try and make it out there. You can check the Oahu HAMB Group out too... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=368 Aloha, Jason
Cool thanks for info.i work over here usually a couple months a year,so maybe i run into you one day.
I live on the Windward side...Kaneohe. Usually frequent Windward Mall & Aikahi Cruises... ...Burger King on Fridays. Is it at Wendy's Kapolei? Pearl Ridge Saturday - I might just cruise over in the Duster... Tommy
Right on. I see your friend list includes Ooltewah Speed, we're friends with Kevin and Penny too. They've been out here a few times.
I work for American Electric (Controls Division) I wasn't on this job myself...But i heard that we're just wrapping up over there! Tommy
Last Night @ BK with the 'Ol farts...The Cool Guys! If the Weather holds up I'll be at Pearl tonight!
Ask and you shall receive... Here are a few pics from tonights Pearlridge Rooftop Cruise Night. Excuse the quality of some of the photos, my iPhone wasn't working any magic in the dim light. Also excuse the pics of anything off topic. I just wanted to show you what a typical Cruise Night is like here.
We've just booked 9 nights in Honolulu from Tuesday the 18th of June, we're bringing the kids and grandkids for a Hawaiian summer holiday! Anyhting on over that week that we might be able to catch? We probably won't be hiring a car, so something within Honolulu itself, or with access by the shuttle or local public transport would be great! Cheers, Glen.
Hey Glen, I usually check this site for show info. http://www.paradisecruisers.com/SMF/index.php?board=1.0 A lot of the 2013 schedules haven't been posted yet, but you can check in again before your trip. Unfortunately not much happens right in Honolulu or near Waikiki. Most Cruise Nights are a good drive out of town (Hawaii Kai, Kailua, Kaneohe, West Side, etc.).
Here's s'more high lights! Ken. Good talking to 'Ya, (That's an Awesome 32!) Talk to You soon! ...See You on HAMB? Aloha Tommy
Thanks! Site's bookmarked, I'll keep an eye on it before we go. Maybe I can convince the son-in-law he needs to hire a car for a 'convenient' few days...
Thanks guys for posting the pictures! I ended up leaving yesterday after we finished job.i will be back in june for couple more weeks.maybe i will get to meet some of you guys when i get back
I was visiting the Island and heard of the event fom Marty at 808 and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of cars that showed up . Also had a chance to meet and talk to a few members .Great bunch of folks over there . I ran out to Martys on Tues, for a visit and he had some nice projects in the shop . And for a bonus I was directed to George Kruses shop and spent about 5 Hours hanging out there and talking all things metal . Just my luck finding one if not the only guy on the island with a Pulmax . I will definatly be hooking up with him next year when I go for my cold weather break . I ended up getting some shots of the nice cars . Just as I was getting ready to head out in thumps a Thames with a full on blown and injected chevy . As if that wernt enough I look inside and there sits a Lenco trans . Talk about a race car with street plates .I thought to myself there has to be a trailer in the parking lot somewhere .Later after talking with George he said the guy probably did drive it and there is another car running around with the same trans .
