    Hey Mattilac, when moving the spring to the top of the pack did you also remove a leaf or two? My truck has 7 leafs front and rear. Thanks! <TABLE id=post2977458 class=tborder border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=6 width="100%" align=center><TBODY><TR><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e5e5e5 1px solid; BORDER-LEFT: #e5e5e5 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: #e5e5e5 1px solid; FONT-WEIGHT: normal; BORDER-RIGHT: #e5e5e5 0px solid" class=thead><!-- status icon and date -->[IMG] 07-21-2008, 08:13 PM <!-- / status icon and date --></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e5e5e5 1px solid; BORDER-LEFT: #e5e5e5 0px solid; BORDER-TOP: #e5e5e5 1px solid; FONT-WEIGHT: normal; BORDER-RIGHT: #e5e5e5 1px solid" class=thead align=right> #12 </TD></TR><TR vAlign=top><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e5e5e5 0px solid; BORDER-LEFT: #e5e5e5 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: #e5e5e5 0px solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #e5e5e5 1px solid" class=alt2 width=175>Mattilac<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_2977458", true); </SCRIPT>

    Put the leafs under the axle and buy a 4in drop axle and you will be very low

    Is there any reasonable sources for the mono leaf spring kits, Four hundred bucks has me a squirming.

    My 64 has a stock axle and ALL but two springs taken out. It is bottomed out with no travel. IT WAS LIKE THIS BEFORE I GOT IT.

    I like the stance. I am thinking a dropped axle and put some springs back in it or maybe doing the axle and the springs, that may be too much though.

    Also, what about maybe redrilling the spring pack bolt and moving it forward two inches to relocate the axle forward in the wheel well, is this a bad idea?
