Howdy from Midland, Texas!

I lurked around here for months before finally registering! I have gleaned a ton of knowledge just looking through the boards...yall are certifiably insane...and I like it!

I am in the process of rebuilding my grandfather's 1959 apache, shortbed, stepside at the moment. He bought it new...but it has been sitting engineless on the farm for all my 30 years. We threw a warmed over Scoggin-****ey crate 350 in last winter, and then took a break. Time to get back on it!

Got a buddy that lives in Stratford...it gets pretty cold up your direction...good luck with that coupe!

Hello Eric from Midland. I spent a little time in Midland as a kid back in the late 70s. My dad built sprint cars for Bobby Hillin Sr.'s Longhorn Racers Team and Bobby Jr. And I became good friends. He spent the summers in Indiana with us and I was able to go home to Midland with them a couple of times.
