Gearhead all my life, no cure.......been lurking here for a long time, reading and learning.....have owned many cars, motorcycles, new and old, have a p***ion for traditional hotrods, original restos and, of course, drag racing, road racing, lsr....i got it bad.........
Just picked up a 39 ford pick up, project but a nice one, ch***is done, a couple flatties, one running, cab done, lots of original and replacement parts....just have to put it together......
Found it in a small machine shop, locally, when I stopped by to pick up a few things they've had for me for some time.....a true barn find, sitting for at least 15 years, in dry, heated storage.....couldn't p*** it up......
Not much experience with this vintage, looking for the best manual, illustrations etc.....need to see how the cab mounts, stuff like that. I have ordered Van Pelts book to rebuild the ******...just looking for recommendations for the rest of the story.....thanks and heres some pictures......

Yup, I've been a member on a vintage HD 'shovelhead' forum for a number of years and if you don't post pictures, you get beat up pretty good.....guess I've been trained well......
