I'm looking for somebody to put a quarter panel on my '55 Chevy and do some other work to get it ready to paint. Anybody recommend a good bodyman in the North Texas area with good metal working skills? Thanks!
It may be to far north for you but I will recommend Glover's Paint and Body in Marlowe, OK. They are 3 generations in the body shop business and have turned out some very nice work over the years. Contact Justin Glover at gloverpaintandbody@sbcglobal.net. I have been friends with Justin's Dad Ken Glover for almost thirty years. Some of Justin's Paint and Body work is awesome. You might get Ken out of retirement to help Justin with the work. Phone is 580-658-3515 Good Luck with the '55 Jeff
Thanks, I'll check them out. I'm looking for someone that has experience with trifives and that knows these cars pretty well. I've done a ton of work on my car, including all of the dirty work, but now I need somebody to take it to the next level.
Danny Griner over in Burkburnett does some nice work. He restores cars for the local Chevy dealer's private collection of GM iron. Fixes other folks mistakes, makes stuff nice again. Just always way busy, but way good!!!! Take care, K
Still looking for someone good to do some sheet metal and bodywork on my '55 Chevy. Looking for someone in the D/FW area, preferably Dallas/Collin County areas, if possible. Thanks.
Don't want to toot our own horn but you asked. We have done literally hundreds of panel replacements and have a dedicated 6,000sqft metal fab shop. We are a full resto/rod shop, blast in house, have our own body and paint shop, and mechanic re***embly shop. Take a look at our website and facebook page for loads of pics. Oh and we are located in Wylie, north east Dallas, Collin County
Don Ross in North East Dallas is a very good metal guy. He is on the HAMB. I think his business is DWR Fabrications. If you can't locate him, pm me, I have his business card here somewhere. He has been doing hot rods for about 50 years (I went to school with him).
