Hello My name is Kyle and I just signed up yesterday on the board. I found it while looking for pictures of 41-46 Chevy trucks and I'm glad I did. My dad has a '42 Chevy that we have been tinkering with for a few years. Here is a picture of my dad's '42, my '02 CE Trans Am, Mom's '80 Mustang and a fellow club member's '54 Chevy truck.
Hey Kyle, welcome to the HAMB. That is just about the biggest hood scoop by volume that there has ever been - isn't it? You could house a small family in it. Just a suggestion, I wouldn't be pushing the post-65 stuff on here or you may get a little toasted, but otherwise, welcome aboard and enjoy your time here. Cheers.
Thanks Yeah it was the only hood on the market at the time I could find to clear the carb. It has a built LS1 huffing nitrous through a carburetor. Yanked the EFI stuff for something I can tune on. Don't worry I didn't join to show my car off, it was for my dad's '42. Mainly to look for parts and different ideas for it.
Cool, it's not so much my worry, but I've seen others get ripped apart for posting OT stuff here, and it can get a little uncomfortable for new guys. It sounds like you understand though, so shouldn't be any drama. Like I said before, enjoy yourself here and I hope you get lots of info and support. Cheers.
Hey guys I'm a Newbie to the site and was wondering what "OT" is referring to I know it is newer vehicles but what does it stand for. Great site I love old cars and trucks, don't have one yet but the savings account is growing haha.
