  2. Let's have a few more details about the car and when you saw it last.
There used to be one running around here a couple years ago. '58 I think, was yellow with a roll bar and SBC or BBC I think. Looked like an old drag car...

A friend had sold it in seattle to someone that lived south of Seattle down towards Olympia/chehalis area I think. The last time I seen the car was around 1992 at Seattle international Raceway. I have heard rumers that it was being ran regularly somewhere in southern Washington/Northern Oregon. I do know that the hood scoop was changed out also... but I havent got any onfo on a color change. The car ran a small block Chevy with a four speed manual and had a chrome rearend.

  4. From what i have learned, the guy who owned the yellow one moved away (maybe Spokane?)
Been 5-6 years since it was seen around here......cannot remember the guys name....

Poor.... ya that is probably the same. I live close to lake sawyer. When I see John I will have to see if he knows the history of it. I believe he said a friend had one also.

  11. Usually if you talk to one guy with a car like what you are looking for they will know every car like that in the area.

I bought a 58 from a guy in puyallup on south hill about 10 yrs ago. Probably not that one. Maroon, prostreet, v6. He is very connected with the short wheelbase crowd. He has anglias, hilmans, topolinos, other english fords. If its in the NW, he'll know where. Why the interest? Did you own it? Pm me for his info.

Need Help. Looking for this car, It was around the Kent, Covington Maple Valley and Renton area in the 70's and 80's. A guy by the name of Ray Stakes built this car and sold it before he passed. Some of you might of seen it at the race trac...k... at SIR in the day and or Bremerton raceway, last time anyone heard it was down south, maybe Yelm area? The person that bought it was racing it. The car will probably not look as good due to some mods to the body and suspension most likely in need of a paint job. It is a 1958 Ford Anglia
Rays daughter and her husband are looking for this car and and are very interested in finding it with hopes to bring it back to there home. There is A very cool story behind this car and means a lot to them.
So please if anyone know where this car maybe or remembers 25 years ago anything about this car let me know and I will pass it on.See More
