I dont know if it be outta place or not but I'd like to make this thread a dedication to him and anyone that has any pics or knowledge of Bill and the angel feel free to chime in! I'll start
I think the thread would be a great idea, a tribute to a great man. It is sad to see such a staunch member of the nostalgia racing scene p*** away. RIP Bill, now racing on that big dragstrip in the sky. Doc.
The shop and the "Golden Angel" is in great hands. Bill and I had a lot of great times and laughs together. I will never forget what he taught me about racing and life. He put me in my first drag car at the age of 16. We raced together like father and son. I now own a piece of history that I will always cherish. Let the legend live on old buddy!!!!! you will be missed.
It is I think this is the best site for pre 64 traditional hot rods n customs on the net I am on here various times of the day reading, messaging, learning, etc. Its kinda like my hot rod facebook!lol!
Rest in Peace Bill and a big "Thank You" for giving the "Angel" it's second chance of life. I will always remember the first Golden Angel. Nasty, Thanks for the post, it's good to keep up with our friends here on the H.A.M.B. Ray...
I will race the car like Bill wanted and asked me to and I will try to make it out as much as possible. The car is a part of the local heart and soul of the g***ers.
