Working on a 58 fleetside. looking into brakes..got the camaro clip in using the 10 bolt from the camaro..now looking for the brake pedal ***embly that will fit under the dash..do i need a booster. disc in front drum in rear. will a 67-72 setup work well? do I have room in the stock (original) to use it with my 700R4?

I once used a Chrysler Cordoba master, booster and pedal ***embly in a '49 Chevy pickup. I just cut the bracketry for the Chrysler dash off and made it fit my dash. It's made for a vertical firewall and worked out well.

I think you would be on the right path using a 71/72 Chevy truck setup. Get the combination valve that goes with it too to make things work easier.

it shouldn't be much of a problem to use the pedal ***embly from the same camaro that the clip came from. I have used the second gen pedal ***embly and master cylinder along with the camaro prop valve in a couple of clipped projects with no problems. I did use a smaller booster than the one from the camaro.
