hey guys ,does any one know of a company close to e tn that will widen a 15x7 steel wheel (besides cokers) need a band on the outside to make a 15x10 thanks for your input
I know of no one who will band a wheel any more, liability. cheaper to get a 10" and put the center in it yourself.
Speedway has 15x10 hoops without centers. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Wheel-Shell-15-x-10,28294.html They give the measurement on what the outside dia of the center has to be. There are no doubt some other suppliers that have them too.
I just bought some rims from a guy named Rick in Powell. I think he did this. His number is 865-228-2024. Worth a shot to check with him.
It's not E Tn but I had my back wheels on my model a widened by Wheel Works in Burlington NJ. Tim Smith has been building/repairing wheels for years. The brown truck picks up and drops off. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
You're in the heart of Roundy-Round country! Find a local circle-jerk racer that does them. Almost everywhere there's a dirt or asphalt track, there's a guy or shop that builds them. They'll use a center from a stock wheel, jig it up and weld it into a new hoop. Here's the one's I had made for my slicks..............
