I am looking for a frame for my 1935 project a 5 window Chevy Coupe. I am hoping someone might be able to give me a lead on one. I am looking for one that is badly battered because I am up for a challenge. Let me know if you can help thanks.
Is it for a Master or Standard? If you don't know which one you have, a Master has a glove-box in the dash, and the Standard doesn't. Also, a Master has a 112" wheelbase, and a standard has 107" or 109" wheelbase (Not sure which one) If you have a Master, then I have a frame for it. It's not battered up, in pretty good shape, but does need work.
hey thanks for the great piece of information I have not found anyone who could tell me the difference till now. I do have the master, Is there any to get a pic or two of it, and how much would you want for it, and also what about shipping? Thanks Cary
Actually, a quicker way to tell a Master is if it has suicide doors...1935 is the only year GM had them and the Master in the Chevy line had them and the standard did not.
isn't there something about the windshield, also? if it's flat one piece it's a standard, if it's Veed )split) two piece it's a master.
actually, the easiest way to tell is the master has a rounded roof like the '36, and a standard has a flat roof with a cloth insert. also the suicide doors and the grill looks more like the grill off of the pick ups.
