    there's been a decent looking 48 chevy 4 door on CL here locally asking $1200--i'm guessing a grand would buy it.

    along those same lines, I missed a nice 48 chevy aero sedan about 5 years ago. good solid and complete car. the guy sold it for $400 about a week after I looked at it (he wasn't there when I stopped to look it over--found out when I finally got in touch with him). a yard bought it and doubled the price. more than I was willing to pay for a handful o parts I wanted.

    we got our 52 crestline victoria for 980.00 needless to say its a MI car has plenty of cancer but an orginal 75K mile car and the flattie runs.

    Bought this for a grand, running driving, 283 4-speed already chopped, stainless done, vent windows done and rechromed tons of extra parts, car had its problems but it is coming together nicely. Jim

    I Bought this for a $1000.00 with everything but the engine and front hood. It had a 49 lincoln trunk though.
