Besides macs. They are out of stock. I am hoping that not everyone uses the same supplier. Anyone else that carries these??

Does Mac's use Mack Hills parts? Try Spadaro.

Why not make your own,,unless you are trying to make them look original.

Little time on the sheet metal brake,, HRP

Try "Northern Truck" , they're in Michigan, and have just about any early Ford sheetmetal you may need.

Anyone else have a supplier? Just checkin one last time. Tried out Makc. Never got a call or an email back. It has only been a day, but I need to get these very soon.

  10. I bought mine from MACS. I needed an original set.
You could take the $250-$300 and buy a brake and then make your own. That's how I justify buying more tools.:D

I built this bed back in the early 80s the only problem is it does not have the beads in the bedsides. I made up drawings and had a sheet metal shop bent up the pieces and I ***embled it myself. Not that difficult if you are not too concerned about originality. I used a repro tailgate. Nobody made the bed back then.

After chattting With HOTRODPRIMER a bit, I will just be building my own. Didn't realize just how easy these were to make. THought there were beads rolled into them and what not... Much easier than that. I will post pix as I progress. But probably on my 31 model A truck thread. Thanks for the help guys.
