I have a T85N trans with the yoke bolted to the rear. It has a tag that reads C5T3C. Can any one shed some more light on what I gots? I'm in the process of adapting it to my '55 F100. A little machining to open the bell to fit the input shaft cover, finding or making a longer pilot bearing to make up for the shorter input shaft, etc.
I cracked open the OD yesterday and it looks good. A little sludgy from sittin', but that cleaned right up. Now to get after putting it back together and mounting it in the truck.
