    Back window placement.
Do I attach it to the original belt line
Do I add to the belt line and then attach it
Is the distance because of the package try or is it simply a personal preference?
I won't lie Iam a bit stumped now that iam back ther and worried ill farg it up without some help. I added a strip to the belt line first and found it difficult to keep symmetrical so I shit canned it and now it's tacked in where it was but have a large area to make up above and sail panels. Can I ask which might be easier in the long run? I've seen it both ways so know it can happen, but I wonder which would be better for a novice in the end. Il post a picture of my toilet and two that are different please chime in thanks

do a long search here - recent threads on shoebox chops - think it looks best to leave in stock position and lean it forward

Well, I chopped that '49 Ford you posted but I have been doing them differently lately. The owner of that car wanted his back window sloped from the original location. I have recently redone mine by adding to the catwalk and moving my rear window forward. I think it is all personal preference, really...you don't want the catwalk to be too short nor too long.

    Here is my latest

I don't mind at all man! I'm glad you could possibly use it for reference. Montana looks nice and sunny right now...hahaha. I can't quite make it that far at the moment, but I have no problem helping you through a keyboard. Feel free to email me...it's just metal don't let it get to you :)

I kept mine pretty much in the stock location, and just leaned it forward. I've seen them both ways, it's just personal preference. they just look good chopped either way to me.
