'56 Chevy ID help?

    Been trying to think of a guy's name and find pics of his car. I've searched here and other sites with no luck. Time to tap the vast resources of the H.A.M.B. fpr the correct answer.

    Orange and white '56 chevy that was in a ton of magazines several years ago (15-20 years ago?). Slightly altered wheelbase, polished 5 spoke American spindle mounts, think it was an early Pro Gas car. Totally clean and beautiful car. Think the owner's name was Paul Zahn?

    Anyone help? It's driving me crazy!

    Nobody? It was such a nice '56 I thought surely somebody would have remembered it.

    Not it. The one I am thinking of has spindle mount Americans on the front, a lot of aluminum work, rear tires inside the wheelwells, slight nose up at***ude.

    I'll keep searching. Think it was a Cali car.
