Me too! Shoulda seen me running back and forth both sides of my truck trying to put the cover on, just to have a gust of wind blow it right back off.

  4. I don't know how you guy's do it, living in those cold temps. Especially you guys that live in places where it snows! I guess its all relative to where you were born and what is 'normal' to you.
I saw snow once, never again if I can help it. Had to drive for 5 hours to get there and all it was, was ****** cold!
Guess I somewhat of a wimp when it comes to the cold..........

    Doc.

Right now it wouldn't take a lot of talking to get me to trade 23 degree weather for mid 50's. I spent the first 8 years of my marriage in McGregor out of Waco and 25 there is like 0 here.

I spent most of today rigging a "nose hanger" for my 71 GMC so I could get the other head off and get it fixed without totally freezing my tail feathers off again. The little yard sale bullet heater brings the temp up high enough so that you can stop shivering and work. That shelter will get moved over in front of the garage so I can work on the 48's frame or the Model A when the dailys are up and running.

If it makes anybody feel any better, I got a mild sunburn at Pavillions in Scottsdale on Saturday when we were out trying to sell the Maverick... It was 81 or so. 'Bout 75 today.

There are 3 things that drive me indoors. Extreme Cold, Extremem heat, and pollen.

Right now its 8 and wind chill is well below 0. For me its like breathing gl***... I love the 70's but its gonna be awile yet.

Hate to say it but now we have ventured into the 80's some this week. It has been great! Don't even need the heater in the morning and have to turn on the ac in the afternoon.
