Asphalt Angel, thanks for the kudos. The 41-48 bodies are the same. Mine is chopped 3 1/2" at the B pillar a little more at A and C. Here's a picture of mine. Also check post 19 on this thread.

Phat rat, Yes, that's about what I am considering, a 3.5 to 4 inch from the b pillar, Nice flow on yours,

48...That hardtop has a nice flow going there...if you have a build thread let us know

Making some more decisions on the 46, the PO had replaced the front end with a valorie and has a SBF + C4...9 inch rear end as well. If anyone has some extra molding and grill parts let me know...I'm also, needing some 15 inch wheels...wdie whites too...

Hey wanted to bring this back to the top, I'm looking for an original seat if possible, but would a 49-51 seat work?

so i did some photoshopping, not the best but you get the idea...I tried to calculate about three inches off the A & B pillar...keeping the 1/4 window at a reasonable heigth...what do you think...

here's stock...(ps thanks for whomever car this is I'm using as a diagram)

Leave the rain gutters on and slant the B pillars, cars without rain gutters look weird and slanted B pillars just plain kick ***.

    My 2 cents.

4Rod, that unchopped '46 looks just like a FEW that ran around Santa Clara (CA) in 1949-55... very popular model, color, and modifications.

NONAME, I never got to say how well-proportioned that Coupe is! GREAT idea, the long doors on Biz Cpe body... Better proportions than the Chrysler 3 windows... LOL

Attached are some scans of a 48 short door chopped by Doug Thompson in the 80's. I did the rest.
